Hi, I’m Martin. Happy husband, and dad to three girls. Storyteller, former professional ballet dancer, chocoholic, and a lifelong sufferer supporter of Newcastle United.
I’ve been with my gorgeous wife Christie for 20 years. We’re fiery, affectionate, hearts-on-our-sleeves, hopelessly-besotted best friends. And we love each other very much.
Together we have three girls- Hetty, Connie, and Iris- who have completely rocked my world!
We live in the little village where Christie grew up- we’re about a mile from the beach, a mile from my mum, and literally next door to my in-laws. Whether its sofa cuddles, bedtime stories or roast dinners together: family is at the heart of everything, and I couldn’t imagine life any other way.

I love chocolate, and lots of it!

I am a massive softie! I still cry at 'The Holiday' and 'Love Actually'. I even cry at 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' (it just gets me every damn time!)

I also love Game of Thrones, Die Hard, Gladiator and Marvel (just to balance out the rom-coms!)

Before I was a wedding photographer, I was a professional ballet dancer with Northern Ballet performing all across the world.

I love love, in all its gooey, cheesy goodness! I love seeing people completely into each other on the happiest day of their lives. And I love being the one to capture it for them. I really have found my dream job!

But you know what’s funny? I don’t actually remember our wedding day very much. Not spending time with Christie, chatting to my family, or my friends. But I do remember having my photo taken.
A lot.
We missed our drinks reception (the light was better elsewhere). Mingling was all-but forbidden. And I know it sounds ridiculous, but we didn’t even get to hear our string quartet.
So when I became a wedding photographer, that experience became my nemesis. The wedding day I *don’t* want you to have.
I want you to have a day you can really remember, you know? Really enjoy, really experience.

Glee was cool; Ned Stark was loving life, Bruno Mars was a hopeless romantic. And- little did I know- in a few years’ time I’d become a wedding photographer myself.

We were worried about having intimate couple photos but Martin made the photos feel so relaxed and romantic. It didn't actually feel like we were being photographed. It just felt like we were spending time together on our wedding day.
