The Best wedding photography of 2024

It seems like only yesterday I was writing my end of year blog post for 2023 and now here I am rounding up 2024. As I get older (I turned 40 this year) time seems to go quicker and quicker. This year however seems to have gone by faster than any other. 39 weddings photographed in total over the course of only 9 months has been hectic at times but I have loved it. I have also produced much more dance photography this year which has been so very rewarding and I’m looking to do even more of this alongside weddings in 2025. Photographing weddings is not just a job to me, it is a passion and I am honoured every time I pick up my camera to document a couples day. I always try to find the story within the magic that happens and this will never change. Moments are always what drives me and it is always the connection between people that I find so intriguing. Portraits will always be an important part of the day but for me it is the little in between moments that I love capturing and you will find lots of these in the collection of photos below.

Doing an end of year blog post always gives me a chance to reflect on the work I have produced. Some loud with raucous laughter while others more intimate, every wedding is unique and its own story to tell. As always while reflecting there always has to be an immense amount of thanks to people that have helped make this year an absolute cracker. Thank you to the amazing couples who have trusted me to witness a very special day in their lives. Thank you to the suppliers I have had the pleasure to work with and thank you to all the amazing venues my 2024 journey has visited.

And so to 2025…. The New Year will be on us before we know it and I am very fortunate to already have 37 weddings booked in my diary. I start on 10th January and I have a feeling it will be a cracking year. There will be a new website coming from the amazingly talented Loyal Studio as well as a rebrand. Both of these have been in the pipeline for the last couple of years and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with.
