Emily & Dan’s bump photoshoot took place at their home in Newbury on a glorious June Summer day. It was the perfect setting for this wonderful couple! I have photographed Emily & Dan a lot over the years, first for their engagement photos and then at their amazing Lulworth Castle wedding. Every time I see them it is like old friends meeting up, they are just so lovely! I’ve loved witnessing this couple grow and feel honoured to have been able to capture so much of their life together.
Due to the Coronavirus guidelines we were limited to use the outside of the house and also had to keep a 2 metre distance throughout. This was not a problem as Emily & Dan’s large garden was perfect to use as it contained lots of tall trees which provided perfect shade. Using a shallow depth of field I was able to soften out the background to give a beautiful green colour which really complimented their outfits.
Bump photoshoots are a wonderful chance to spend some quality time together before the new addition arrives. It gives you a little time out to enjoy this special time with some beautiful pictures to record it with.
