As a dorset wedding photographer I first met Steph and Andy at my home studio for a personal consultation. This helps to create a relaxed atmosphere where the client can start to imagine some ideas for their wedding and see how the story of their special day will be captured. Building this important relationship is a trademark of the documentary style in which I photograph.
This relationship developed during their engagement shoot at Old Harry’s Rocks where Steph and Andy had a great time and I further developed my knowledge as a Dorset wedding photographer. Being keen to showcase my range of photography, I was excited to work at a new venue in the Harbour Heights hotel too.
The wedding day started at Steph’s parents home in Bournemouth where I was able to capture some beautiful moment between the girls as well as the Tiffany engagement and wedding rings, so special to the couple. On the day every guest was asked to wear something pink which worked wonderfully as the vibrant pink and grey colour scheme lit up the day, ensuring some memorable photographic images for the couple to look back on for years to come. The ceremony was held at All Saints Church, Chalbury, the same venue where Steph’s parents were married and Steph herself was Christened. Set on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful Dorset countryside it made for some enduring images to continue the family history. The Harbour Heights Hotel was a stunning venue for the reception, complimented beautifully by the gorgeous sunset over Poole Harbour. The pink and grey theme continued into the cracking speeches where the best man produced a framed ’50 shades of Tread’ poster with accompanying props – Tread being the nickname of the Groom.
The images below reflect a fun time had by all and a cracking day to remember. 🙂
Enough talking, it is the images that count, so please follow Steph and Andy’s story below…
