Off the back of the successful photo call of Northern Ballet’s production of Ondine, I was commissioned by the same company to photograph their new children’s ballet, The Ugly Duckling. The production is only 40 minutes long, but is packed with laughter and beautiful choreography to engage young children throughout the entire performance. The Choreographers, Dreda Blow and Sebastian Loe, who are two dancers currently at Northern Ballet, have created a piece which is fun and enjoyable for children of all ages. Next up for me is a photocall for the prestigious English National Ballet and their production of The Nutcracker, which opens at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton on the 21^st November this year. With the company under new directorship, the world renowned Royal Ballet principal, Tamara Rojo, it will be extremely interesting to see how the company have adapted, and what she has brought to this wonderful ballet company.
