It was a privilege to be chosen by Lucy and James for their Northcote House wedding, a stunning manor house set in the Berkshire countryside.
We first met at a Northcote House wedding fair where Lucy and James fell in love with the style of my photography and documentary approach to the wedding day. This initial meeting was to spark the relationship needed to understand and interpret their wedding story through photographic images for them to reflect on for years to come.
Of the many memorable images the stunning grand staircase for the Bride to make her elegant entrance produced one of the best photographs from the day. James looked up at the radiant Lucy as she glided down the staircase so elegantly and as they met to say their vows they both looked at each other lovingly as their tenderness shone through.
Lot’s of emotions during speeches, both happy and sad, took the audience on a journey through the couple’s life and relationship which even I couldn’t back a sigh as I photographed from the back of the room.
An awesome photo booth in the evening (provided by the same company that attended Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s wedding earlier this year no less!!) was a source of great amusement for everyone.
The day was signed off beautifully with a fireworks display, always full of raw enjoyment and brilliant to photograph 🙂
Did Lucy and James’ Northcote House wedding capture the spark of love, fire of emotion and flames of romance….judge for yourselves
