As a wedding photographer covering a number of varied venues and locations I was delighted to be Kerry and Dan’s choice for their East Horton Golf Club wedding in September of this year.

I pride myself on delivering a very personal service and hope to gain positive feedback and recommendations to new clients. It is with particular pleasure that we met via a recommendation from a previous Bride, Caroline, who works with Kerry’s Father. My day started at Marwell Hotel for the Bridal preparations before moving on to the Bride’s parent’s house for a few intimate photographs with close family. The ceremony then followed at St. Andrews Church in Owslebury where I have photographed before and so was able to use my experience at the venue to find the best lighting, placing and background to get the best photographs for Kerry and Dan. The church service was beautifully intimate and produced some emotional, fleeting moments between the couple.

Group photographs outside the church included incorporating the wedding cars for the day as part of the backdrop for the photographs. This is something that looked spectacular and I will definitely use again.

The wedding reception then followed at East Horton Golf Club where we used the couple’s vintage Rolls Royce car in a couple of stunning photographs with the Golf Course as a backdrop. For the more personal shots of the couple’s time alone I used the log cabin situated on the 18th hole and the long grasses surrounding it. This produced some wonderful moments between the couple as they laughed and giggled throughout.

The speeches soon followed and before long it was time for the cutting of the cake and first dance. Kerry and Dan looked so happy as they danced for the first time together to their chosen song, surrounded by their closest family and friends. When my day had finished I was packing away my kit and couldn’t help thinking how happy Dan and Kerry looked as they partied the night away on the dance floor.

If photographs could talk they would say what a wonderfully kind, genuine and happy couple Kerry and Dan are and what a perfect wedding they shared with their guests. If only photographs could talk…
