dance and Theatre Photographer in London and HampshireIn December I had the privilege to photograph one of the top ballet schools in London and the only Russian trained school to be completely taught by Russian teachers in the UK. The Russian training method is very technically difficult and builds an immense amount of technical strength and ability from which some of the best ballet stars across the world have benefitted from. With the guidance of the Artistic Director of the school, Evgeny Goremykin, the London Russian Ballet School will be a school to watch in 2013. His vision is quite stunning and what he has produced with the school so far is without a doubt something to be admired.

Photographing this ballet production I got a taste of what the school has to offer and I was not disappointed in the slightest. There were excerpts from The Dream, Don Q and Swan Lake Act III – all exceptionally hard repertoire for schools. The school have been looking for a ballet photographer for some time and were so pleased with the photographs I produced of this show that they will be bringing me back in on several occasions in the near future to capture everything from school shows and Outreach performances to exam days and marketing images. This relationship is one that I am very much looking forward to strengthening at every twist and turn as this wonderful school continues to rise. Please take a look at the images below and if you like what you see please don’t be afraid to comment, it’s always lovely to hear what you think, and as always if you have any questions or have a school show coming up please contact me.
