As a wedding photographer it is always a pleasure to work with local suppliers on inspiration photo shoots and so when Natasha Wiggins of NW-Makeup contacted me on Twitter about carrying out a Bridal shoot my creative juices started to flow like crazy. Being an ex ballet dancer myself I thought that bringing ballet into the area of weddings would be a perfect combination.
Ballet is filled with elegance and grace, as is a Bride on her wedding day – a perfect match and a set of wedding pictures that would be beautiful. The fusion of weddings and ballet we felt would give us a unique aspect for brides to look at and show the various styles through the decades, in one simple and elegant photo shoot. Myself and Natasha also wanted a vintage theme and chose to go with a variety of eras from 1920’s – 1950’s to show that elegance and grace was always on offer for any era a Bride may choose to have their wedding theme of.
The wedding photography was by myself, Bridal make up by Natasha of NW Make up, wedding dresses were supplied by the lovely Brides of Winchester, wedding flowers by Driftwood and Daisies and Bridal accessories by the Glitzy Secrets. The two Brides for the inspiration shoot were two professional Ballet dancers from Northern Ballet and I would like to thank them for giving up there day off to be with us. The wedding venue we chose was Rhinefield House Hotel in the New Forest, it’s grandure was perfect for this styled Bridal shoot and their hospitality was second to none, as always. It was a pleasure to work with such lovely wedding suppliers and I would not hesitate to recommend every single one of them.
I hope you enjoy the resulting images from the photo shoot at Rhinefield House and if you would like to see more of my wedding photography or like to view my wedding photography prices please visit my website or get in contact to check on my availability
