“Wow, what a day. We really enjoyed you being part of it. Thank you so much for being so organised and putting us where we needed to be, laughing at my terrible jokes and getting me presentable for Kass.
We both want to say what a beautiful day we had and you were a huge part of that. We really feel you weren’t just “the photographer” but part of our guest list.
We’re currently sat around tons of moving boxes, me and Kass just saw the photos. They are unbelievable. We are in awe of how you got these shots.
Thank you so much! You have truly made our day unforgettable.”
If there’s one thing I’ve learned photographing weddings in the UK, it’s this: rain doesn’t ruin a wedding – not when there’s love, laughter, and a couple like Kassandra and Rob leading the way. Their July wedding at Norton Park was filled with everything that truly matters: family, heartfelt moments, and a celebration that was full of joy from start to finish – even if the umbrellas never got a break!
Rain? What Rain?
Yes, it rained. All. Day. Long. But here’s the thing: it honestly didn’t matter one bit. From the moment I arrived at Norton Park, there was this amazing sense of excitement and warmth. Kassandra and Rob weren’t phased at all – they embraced the weather, kept smiling, and leaned into the spirit of the day.
It’s always those relaxed, go-with-the-flow couples who remind me that weddings are about people, not forecasts. And these two? Absolute legends.
A Celebrant Ceremony to Remember
One of the highlights of the day was their beautiful celebrant-led ceremony. These kinds of ceremonies are always extra personal, and this one was no different – full of emotion, laughter, and heartfelt words that had everyone smiling (and a few happy tears too).
The rain gently tapping on the barn roof only added to the atmosphere – cosy, intimate, and truly meaningful. There was something really special about the way they made the space feel so full of love, despite the weather outside.
Family at the Heart
It was clear from the start that family was at the centre of everything Kassandra and Rob had planned. From morning prep through to the evening dancing, the love and support surrounding them was undeniable. Kids running around, parents beaming with pride, emotional hugs and spontaneous laughs, all those little moments that make a wedding day so special.
And honestly, those are the photos I love the most. The real ones. The ones where people forget I’m there and just live in the moment.
Stunning Photos – Even in the Rain
We may not have had golden hour sunshine, but that didn’t stop us creating something magical. With a bit of creativity, we captured some truly stunning portraits around Norton Park. The rain added a moody, romantic feel to the images and the way Kassandra and Rob just went with it made for some unforgettable shots.
The contrast of soft light, misty backdrops, and pure joy in their faces made every photo feel timeless.
Kassandra and Rob – thank you for being so relaxed, so kind, and such a pleasure to photograph. Your day at Norton Park was proof that the best weddings aren’t about perfect weather, they’re about perfect people. And your love, your family, and your outlook made this wedding one I’ll always remember.
