Oh what a day this was!! A lovely couple, fantastic guests and a beautiful venue – what more could you need to produce some wonderful Audleys Wood wedding photography?!

Maddy and Stuart celebrated their wedding in an outdoor ceremony set in the beautiful grounds at Audleys Wood Hotel. The sun was shining and there was some wonderful moments for myself and the guests to witness. At the final meeting the couple told me that they wanted to get an amazing confetti photograph and so I suggested to do this, with the help of confetti canons, as they exited their ceremony. This worked perfectly as you can see from the image below.

The day absolutely flew by and after capturing some family groups along with some couple portraits around the grounds during their reception drinks it was quickly time for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were fantastic and the first dance was a beautiful spectacle of two people so clearly having the best day of their lives.

One of the many aspects of my portfolio that Stuart and Maddy loved was my nighttime work and so we set aside 20 minutes to capture a few different photographs at this time of the day. This is longer than I would normally spend with couples but it was a very important aspect for them and their collection of photographs. My favourite from this time was using the gate in the front of the venue and it produced some stunning results for the couple to remember this part of their wedding by.

Being one of the preferred photographers that Audleys Wood recommends I am starting to work at this beautiful venue more and more. The team are exceptional, really helping the day to run so seamlessly and on this occasion I had the added value of a toastmaster, or Mrs Toastmaster as she is more commonly known – Alanna. She was brilliant from start to finish and is always an absolute pleasure to work alongside. Thank you as always Alanna.
