Kathryn & Jason’s Summer Wedding at Clock Barn

The day of the wedding brought a fair bit of rain in the morning but it cleared to pave way for a truly wonderful wedding at Clock Barn. This was the first wedding I have photographed here and I have to say I absolutely loved it. The venue itself is stunning with it’s grand clock tower and stunning oak beamed interior but it is always the people attending, and the unique features the Bride & Groom include, that make each wedding truly amazing. This was one of those weddings were everything worked perfectly and as an onlooker you could see that every guest played a very special role in Kathryn & Jason’s lives.

From the moment I first spoke to Kathryn and Jason, they wanted there wedding to be unique with a strong emphasis on enjoying the day with their guests. They had so many beautiful details around the barn created by one of their very talented Bridesmaids and had their guests carve their own meat for the wedding breakfast. With aprons on, one designated guest from each table would carve the meat for the rest and it proved to produce some wonderful moments between each table.

The highlight this Clock Barn wedding has to be the singing waiters. THEY WERE AMAZING!! I have photographed quite a few weddings were one of the main elements to the couples day has been to incorporate singing waiters but these guys truly stood out from others that I have photographed. They completely shocked guests as they entered with their guitar with their set culminating in a truly hilarious ‘Dirty Dancing’ lift between two of the men. Needless to say, even with the low light in the venue, it produced some truly amazing documentary images to showcase this very special element to Kathryn & Jason’s Clock Barn wedding.

To finish off the collection of photographs I wanted to get one of my signature nighttime photographs for the couple and boy did it work beautifully as you will see below.
