Zhara and Sam’s Elvetham Wedding

Wow, what a day this was!!! We were forecast to have torrential rain for the majority of the day but fortunately it failed to materialise until the wedding breakfast – a huge sigh of relief for Sam and Zhara who wanted to use the stunning grounds that The Elvetham has. This was the second time I had photographed a wedding at The Elvetham in the past 6 months and although both very different there was one underlying similarity – the urge to marry the one you love.

After meeting Zhara and Sam at a wedding fair I knew that their wedding was going to be absolutely stunning. Their vision was very clear with the theme they wanted and they had a priority to spend the majority of the day celebrating with their guests. I love weddings like this when the emphasis is on the celebration rather than the photographs as it allows me to capture a lot of moments that couples didn’t even know happened. Memories for them that will last a lifetime.

The day started with the Bride and Groom prep then followed by the ceremony in the Main house. As you will see below Sam was a little emotional about seeing his beloved Zhara, and as she entered the room that emotion took hold like not many I have witnessed before. It was a very memorable sight and his love for Zhara was clear for all to see.

The day really unfolded seamlessly and a huge thank you to the wonderful team at The Elvetham for this. They worked tirelessly and were a joy to work alongside.

My nighttime work was one of the reasons that Sam and Zhara loved my portfolio and so I wanted to give them something that really added some ‘WOW’ factor to their collection.

Thank you Sam and Zhara for allowing me to witness such a huge day in your lives. I am very honoured and humbled to have been such an important part of your wedding and I wish you lots of happiness for your future ahead.
