Molly & Jake’s elegant New Place Wedding
“These are amazing!!! Thank you so much Martin, they are so beautiful and captured each moment exactly as I remember it!”
From the first minute to the last there was laughter, smiles and so many emotional moments. I barely put my camera down all day as moment after moment kept materialising before my eyes.
With any weddings timings are always key but need to be adaptable and this was the case for M+J. After the ceremony we had planned to do some confetti and then head for drinks. The weather was not having any of it. The forecast said we had 30 minutes before rain would fill the rest of the day so we adapted the schedule and got all of the family photos and portraits outside. Once the rain came it did not leave but by that time no one cared and just carried on the party like they should.
New Place Hotel is a stunningly unique venue set in 32 acres of woodland. As you approach the ornate wrought-iron gates there lies a Grade I listed manor house – a real picture perfect setting. I have photographed many weddings at New Place Hotel in Shirrell Heath, but Molly & Jake’s ticked so many boxes of how a wedding should be. Lovely people, an incredible atmosphere and real sense of love between everyone attending.
An amazing day with truly amazing people. Here are a few of my favourites from Molly & Jake’s New Place wedding.
