South Farm Weddings
What a wedding this was!! So much joy and laughter throughout the whole day, it really was a pleasure to witness. Ellie & James are two beautiful souls who wanted a very relaxed approach to their South Farm wedding photography with as much time celebrating as possible. The perfect combination for the perfect wedding day.
South Farm as a wedding venue is absolutely breathtaking! A chocolate box style house set in the beautiful county of Hertfordshire with rolling countryside as far as the eye can see. There are so many beautiful places for photographs in and around the venue and every backdrop is simply breathtaking. The staff are so helpful and the food, wow – the food is one of the best I have experienced at a wedding.
Back in 2017 I had the pleasure of photographing Ellie’s sisters wedding at Lulworth Castle, which you can have a look at here. It was wonderful to see both Emily & Dan again and to hear how their life had evolved since their beautiful wedding day.
When looking for a photographer Ellie told me that there wasn’t anyone else she wanted to have as I did such a wonderful job for her sister, which is such an honour to hear! Fast forward to August 17th 2019 and it was Ellie and James’ big day at the stunning South Farm and what a special day it was. There was lot’s of laughter, a really cracking set of speeches and a few tears of remembrance for Ellie’s dad who had sadly passed away earlier in the year. Ellie’s Dad, Martin, was a truly wonderful human being. So warm and caring you couldn’t help but feel comfortable around him. It was an honour to get to know him at Emily’s wedding back in 2017 and the memory table that Ellie and James displayed in his honour was a beautiful touch to their stunning wedding breakfast decorations.
I have thoroughly loved being a part of Ellie and James’ wedding journey and am so pleased that they got to enjoy such a beautiful day with their friends and family. Congratulations to you both on a really beautiful wedding day at South Farm.
