Charleigh and Den’s Tichfield Barn wedding was amazing from start to finish and I am so pleased to be able to share this collection of photographs with you. This wedding had everything, even a little cameo from Charleigh’s horse – Jackson – who completely stole the show when his time came 🙂
My day started at the Bride’s house for some preparations and before heading to the church there was time for ‘Dad’s first look’ which is such a wonderful moment for the Father of the Bride’s to enjoy. Pete, Charleigh’s dad, was full of emotion clearly seeing the little girl he knew in the woman stood before him. This is one of my favourite moments on a wedding day as it is completely uncontrived and you never know what sort of a reaction will come but for this wedding it was a really lovely moment shared between two incredible people.
The ceremony took place at Crofton Old Church in my home village of Stubbington and was a beautiful service. Shortly after the ceremony we did a quick confetti line before the couples grand exit on a horse drawn carriage.
On arriving at Titchfield Barn I was taken aback at how beautifully Charleigh and Den had decorated the barn tying in their colour scheme perfectly. Once the horse drawn carriage arrived we did a photograph with all of the wedding vehicles before Jackson made his appearance.
Having not worked with horses that closely before I was amazed at what a fine animal he was. So elegant to look at and he was definitely the perfect addition to a very important set of photographs for the couple.
I then took the couple to Titchfield Abbey, which is a short distance from the barn, and was the perfect backdrop for the couple to have some time on their own.
The rest of day went all too quickly with the speeches and ‘Mr & Mrs’ game bringing out some wonderful moments for me to capture.
At Titchfield Barn the evening takes place on the main stage and I had an idea as to how I wanted the resulting photographs to look. Something that encapsulated the remarkable setting that they were in whilst also showcasing a very important moment on any wedding day. The resulting image is one of my personal favourites from the day.
Charleigh and Den, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day and I cannot describe how much I have enjoyed getting to know both of you. Thank you.
I hope you enjoy the photographs and slideshow below 😉
