Being Lauren and Robert’s Elvetham wedding photographer was such an honour. Beautiful light and a stunning setting were the ingredients for a quite remarkable wedding day.
Both Lauren and Robert are a gorgeous couple both inside and out but it was the admiration for one another that stood out to me from when we first met. Lauren is a very elegant, classy lady and when telling me about hers and Roberts wedding plans I could tell that their wedding was going to be both stunning and very elegant. When we met for their initial consultation both Lauren and Robert stressed to me that they wanted to have a lot more time with their guests rather than being in front of the camera for lots of staged photographs. I love it when couples say this as it is exactly the way I approach photographing a wedding and so I knew we would be the perfect fit.
The Elvetham is set within 35 acres of luscious grounds and is the perfect 19th century manor. There are so many places for your photographs and the weather really helped to show off this venue perfectly. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at The Elvetham for being so helpful on the day. You were so accommodating with everything and provided one of the best steaks I have ever had!
On looking at the forecast I knew we would be in for a treat and I wasn’t wrong. Gorgeous blue skies and a stunning sunset gave the perfect outlook for this stunning wedding venue. The day flew by so quickly and I thoroughly loved photographing it. All of the guests were treated to so many wonderful things like a magician during the reception drinks and a selfie mirror in the evening to name but a few. The standout moment from the day though has to be as Lauren walked down the aisle with Robert in sheer disbelief at the beauty walking towards him.
Lauren and Robert… The new Mr & Mrs Windebank! I am so happy for the two of you and I feel very fortunate to have got to know you over the last couple of months. It was such an honour to witness your beautiful wedding and I feel very proud and privileged to have photographed your very special day. I will never forget Robert’s reaction to seeing you walk down the aisle Lauren, amazing moment between the two of you.
