Juliette is a wonderfully caring lady and Mike’s soft and fun personality compliments hers completely. They have been two wonderful people to work for and and I cannot begin to describe the amount of fun we have had in the build to, and on the wedding day itself – they have been a dream to say the least. This is why I was so happy when looking back on the photographs for this blog. I couldn’t help but smile to see how happy they were on the wedding day and what a wonderful time they shared with their guests. Highcliffe Castle weddings don’t get much better than this, I have no doubt about that.
I met Juliette and Mike at Annabelle and Jon’s Rhinefield House wedding which I photographed in February last year. Mike was Jon’s Best Man on that day and for Mike’s special day Jon returned the favour. These are two very close friends and as both speeches have told me, they have a lot of funny stories about one another.
Mike and I clicked instantly at Jon and Annabelle’s wedding and once he saw the photographs I produced from that day he wanted me to photograph his and Juliette’s Highcliffe Castle wedding too. Fast forward 11 months and it was time for Juliette and Mike to tie the knot at the beautiful Highcliffe Castle and what a cracker it was. With 46mph gale force winds and torrential rain to contend with on the day it was challenging but I loved every minute of it and so did the happy couple.
Due to the ‘wonderful’ English weather I opted to do a lot more documentary coverage on the day to let the couple enjoy being with their guests. We had a 10 minute window where the rain ceased and used that time to get a few photographs in the grand entrance of the venue. This time produced some stunning images and I am so pleased that we were able to get at least a little time outside for their collection of photographs. I could go into every detail of this wonderful wedding but I think the photographs below will tell the story much better than I ever could.
Juliette and Mike, I cannot begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed being a part of your wedding and I want to wish you the happiest of futures together.
